Aconveyancing Partners with The Forward Trust in 2024

This year, Aconveyancing is working with The Forward Trust as their official charity partner.

The Forward Trust helps people break free from the vicious cycles of addiction, crime and associated mental health difficulties. They deliver services within communities, in prisons and provide support at their renowned residential and regional addiction treatment settings of Clouds House in Wiltshire, The Bridges in Hull and The Brink in Liverpool. 

 

Aconveyancing’s founder and director, Natalie Moore says; “It’s widely known that there is a strong association between the legal profession and addiction issues. It’s a challenge to avoid alcohol in the job we do – whether that be work nights out, networking and events. The Forward Trust claim that ‘everybody knows somebody’ and I believe that we can do more to raise awareness of addiction within our industry, work hard to stop the stigma surrounding addiction and amplify conversations around the support available to those who might need help. Following the ‘knock-out’ success of our first charity & networking day last year, Aconveyancing are delighted to announce plans for our 2024 summer event. Lend us your problem solving, mystery unlocking, team skills - hopefully all under the summer sun.

  • We welcomed over 150+ guests across the day and night
  • We brought together agents, conveyancers, and suppliers to build better relationships

The Conveyancing Crystal Maze Challenge will take place on Wednesday 26th June to bring together industry partners, friends & firms in one place. Here you can meet, network and raise vital funds for addiction charity, the Forward Trust.

"The Forward Trust are calling for addiction to be treated as a serious mental health condition and for increased access to support, so that recovery can be possible for everyone – because everybody knows somebody.”

The event will take place at Mythe Barn, Atherstone, with the aim of championing professional collaboration and raising money for a charity working to improve our understanding of addiction and end the stigma that surrounds it.
